Think soft and slouchy, light and luxurious shapes in sophisticated neutrals made from Irish linen, Italian stretch linen, French lace, silk chiffon and cashmere. Our clothes carry the understated glamour of the well heeled without losing the readiness of ready-to-wear. And there is also couture for those glamorous occasions.  Established in the early 1980’s, Hilton Weiner was the very first South African “designer label” and took the market by storm. The brand maintains its pure, whimsical nature appealing to those who strive for a holistic lifestyle. The Hilton Weiner design team is dedicated to continuing the legacy of Hilton Weiner, famous for timeless classic styling and the finest quality natural fabrics. By re-engineering the perennial favourites such as the jacket, the shirt and the trouser, the design team has kept the collection up-to-the minute. New fabrics add texture and an updated freshness to this collection. The design philosophy centres on superb cuts, impeccable quality, sophisticated style and effortless comfort in a quest for utter timelessness.  Urban° is the cutting edge re-positioning of the old Hilton Weiner Basics. Hilton Weiner Basics was born out of a demand for stylish sophisticated yet casual basics for people on the move. Urban° is definitely one of the most successful brand re-positioning that the Platinum Group has experienced, with 13 stores nationwide and a few new store openings happening before the year is out. The spirit of Urban° centres around "elevated basics" and each silhouette in the collection is the ultimate choice of the season. The Urban° devotee is an aspirational city dweller with a keen eye for detail and a refined sense of style. At Urban°, you are guaranteed to find the ultimate trench, the ultimate white T, the ultimate fitted shirt and the ultimate pair of denim jeans as perennials in the collection, but always with a little extra “not so obvious” added detail. However, every now and again, the range will surprise you with something completely out of the ordinary.  Founded in the early 80's in South Africa, Aca Joe was essentially a backlash against power dressing, which was also born during that era. The philosophy behind the brand has always been about a relaxed attitude; what you wear off-duty; "clothing you want to wear vs. clothing you have to wear". This attitude and passion for "off-duty " gear endeared the brand to many young and young-at-heart South Africans and ensured that Aca Joe has always been a core part of the most popular boys' and girls' wardrobes. With its' active and adventurous approach, Aca Joe has also clothed many a young sports hero’s and heroine’s in it's lifetime and the design team behind the brand will ensure that we continue to do so.  The brand is an 80's kid at heart, founded by Marcel Joubert and Moira O'Reilly while they were still studying at UCT. Being the brand that launched the Platinum Group, Vertigo started as a one store operation and now has expanded to 10 retail outlets all over the country. "Born on the streets" of Cape Town the first collection was a range of the best surf and skate inspired T-shirts of that time. This brand has always been about a celebration of individuality and reflects a spirit of "anything goes" youth culture. Based on a core of denim and T-shirts, the collection has expanded around whatever was hot on the street and whatever may have been a core requirement for the largely student fans.
