Our forums have been developed to provide you with a platform to ask any burning questions you may have about the graduate and working world and receive answers from peers and knowledgeable individuals to assist you on your road to success. Our members are requested to at all times adhere to our policies, including the following rules and guidelines when using our forums.
Membership Policy
- Membership to the Gradzone Forums is free of charge.
- A member is anyone who has completed the registration process including the required membership activation procedure with Gradzone.
- Membership is open to all graduates, post graduates, employers and any other individuals who have an active interest in any subject matter relating to graduates and professional work life.
- Membership is limited to one profile per user.
- Membership may not be shared amongst multiple members.
- Members may register as anonymous users, or they may display their real names.
- Members are expected to at all times treat each other with due respect and courtesy.
- Members are assumed to agree with all policies relating to these rules and guidelines when utilising the forum facilities.
- To protect members privacy, Gradzone will not release any member information unless under legal court order to do so.
- Gradzone reserves the right to ban any Member who willfully violates the forum rules.
General Etiquette Policy
The gradzone suite of forums provides a distinguished group of professional individuals with a fun, friendly, and professional community within which they may gain and share knowledge. Members are therefore expected to treat each other with respect and courtesy at all times. At no time may forum content become insulting, slanderous, derogatory, abusive, hateful, prejudice, illicit or adult in nature. The official language to be used in all our forums is Standard English so that all members may benefit from the information available.
Posting Policy
All postings on this public forum will become immediately viewable to all members and visitors accessing the forums. gradzone does not intend to censor messages based upon the opinions expressed within posts, however our moderators and staff reserve the right to remove, modify or move posts at their discretion and without explanation. The following policies, rules and guidelines are expected to be observed at all times:-
- The official language to be utilised on the gradzone Forums is Standard English.
- Participants may not link in any manner to sites or images containing pornography, sexually explicit scenes and information, gross violence, or sites determined by moderators to be detrimental to the community.
- Any posts that contain adverts or any other form of advertising will be removed.
- Any abuse towards our staff and/or management in any form may result in immediate suspension of a members account.
- Members may not post slanderous commentary relating to employers, institutions and individuals.
- Members must utilise the appropriate forum when asking questions - please try to remain within the forum topic, guidelines and objectives.
- Members are asked to search the forums before posting - your question may have already been discussed and answered.
- Members who wish to paste text in this forum, which they did not write themselves must recognize the source of the content and may only post such information when use of the content is not in breach of the original sources copyright.
- Members bearing grievances or harbouring anything against another member must notify the moderator and give reasons or justifications. Never post your grievances publicly without consulting the moderator.
- Members are asked to observe the copyrights of other users, sites, media, etc.
- Spam is not tolerated on the Gradzone Forums under any circumstances. Users posting spam will be warned, suspended or banned and their post removed.
Privacy Policy
All membership information is treated in the strictest of confidence and will not be sold or otherwise provided to any third party unless under legal court order.
Administration / Moderation Policy
- Moderators may at their discretion and without explanation move or delete posts.
- Moderators are not required to delete posts at the request of members.
- Moderators may alter web-forum rules without notice at any time.
- Moderators decisions are absolute and final.
- Disputes may not be referenced on the Gradzone forums and moderators must be notified and included in any disputes between members.
- Any posts that dispute the decisions made by moderators and staff will be removed and membership of the offending member terminated.
- What constitutes a violation of the Gradzone Forum rules is at the sole discretion of our moderators. These may include rules that are not referenced on the website.
- Violators to any rules stipulated by moderators may be warned, suspended or banned either temporarily or permanently at the sole discretion of our moderators.
