About us
Behr GmbH & Co. KG, Stuttgart, is a systems partner for the international automobile industry. A specialist for automotive air conditioning and engine cooling systems, the Behr Group is one of the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers of original equipment for passenger and commercial vehicles. Sales in the 2009 business year came to around 2.5 billion euros. Currently Behr employs 16,000 staff at 11 development, 22 production sites and 14 joint ventures worldwide.
The Behr Values
Our values act as an inner compass, helping us keep our long-term focus in our day-to-day business dealings, which are sometimes based on short-term considerations. Every employee has the right and the responsibility to live and protect the Behr values.
The three Behr values, "innovative", "people-oriented" and "reliable" were first formulated for our parent company in 1995. In 2000, they were extended to apply to the whole Group, and "cost-focused" was added in 2002. That has now been changed to "results-focused", and the new value "cooperative" has also been added.
